Benefits of Membership

At AMLA, your Life Benefits begin when you become a member. If you are going to purchase life insurance anyway, you may as well get the most out of it. To become a member, all you need to do is purchase at least the minimum value of a life insurance certificate.

As a member, you will receive the same great insurance offered by many private, for-profit insurance companies, and your premiums are paid according to the schedule that works best for you.

As an active AMLA member, you may participate in the AMLA’s various social events, like the annual clambake, golf outing, bowling party, Christmas party, and other lodge events. Additionally, qualified members are eligible to set-up and contribute to an IRA or Annuity.* Members in college may apply for the AMLA scholarship and grant programs. There are also civic opportunities for members through “Join Hands Day” and other volunteer events to benefit the greater community.

Most insurers focus on what your beneficiaries will receive after you pass away. At AMLA, we take care of that, but, we also like to focus on your membership benefits while you are alive. We want you to get the most out of life.
